Guesty and Keycafe

Keycafe is now Integrated with Guesty

Keycafe is now integrated with the Guesty property management system. Find out how to integrate your accounts for more efficient functionality.

Vacation rental hosts and property managers using Guesty’s property management system are now able to directly integrate their Guesty account with their Keycafe account. This integration allows key-owners to view their vacation rental bookings and key accesses for listings from within the Keycafe app, along with a few other helpful features to automate key exchanges.

This integration is currently only available for beta testing. If you’d like to try this feature out you can email beta@keycafe.com for access.

Benefits of Integrating your Keycafe and Guesty Accounts

Key owners using Guesty have access to a variety of features when they integrate their Keycafe account with their Guesty account.

With this integration, property managers and vacation rental hosts can:

  • View bookings directly inside the Keycafe app
  • Manage access to these bookings directly
  • Have automatic access modifications when a booking is modified or cancelled
  • See access details like the booking code and check-in link in the Guesty chat channel
  • Receive notifications of key pickups, drop-offs, and cancellations in the Guesty chat channel

Along with the features above, when a booking is confirmed through the Guesty platform key owners are immediately notified via email with a custom link to create their guest’s key access. By using this link, key-owners are taken to the Keycafe app and can set up a scheduled key access with the guest’s information and access dates automatically filled in.

With your Keycafe and Guesty accounts connected, you’ll be able to see all of the reservations from the Guesty platform in the Keycafe Integrations menu. If you select a specific reservation, you’ll see additional details like the dates of the reservation, the guest’s email, and the number of guests for the booking. Below are the steps to create a key access for your Guesty reservations through the Keycafe app.

  1. On the Keycafe desktop app, select the Integrations menu tab (on the mobile app select the More menu tab and then select Integrations)
  2. Select your Guesty Account
  3. Select Reservations
  4. Select the specific reservation you would like to create a key access for

  6. Choose the access instruction language, and whether to enable return key reminders and required traveler ID
  7. Review the key access details and select Add

Now that you have created a scheduled key access, you will be shown a summary of the key access which includes the guest’s email, key name they have received access to, their booking code, and the guest check-in URL.
